An opportunity to be spiritually enriched…
How do you like the sound of gathering with other people online to read together in silence? Interested? Here are the details:
WHEN? Saturdays, 8am-9:15am (Perth, West Australia time). Just come along whenever the Saturday suits you!
HOW? Via Zoom
HOW MUCH? There is no charge to participate
WHAT? Here's the format:
- Prayer and hellos
- Silent reading/audiobook listening
- Optional sharing of new insights
WHAT ELSE? Participants can read/listen to whatever book they choose. The only requirement is that the chosen book is meaningful to the participant’s spiritual journey (it doesn't need to be about Carmelite spirituality)

First Saturday Day Retreats (9.30am to 4pm)

7 November: Contemplative Hearts, Like Mary’s, with Sr Jud, cm
Learn how to cultivate a contemplative heart, drawing on Carmelite traditions of intimacy with God, solitude, and scripture.
5 December: Ladder of Love – The Ascent of the Soul Toward Union with God, with Fr Ransom, OCD
Discover St John of the Cross’s vision of spiritual growth — each rung on the “Ladder of Love” brings deeper union with God.
