They are all fine and safe. They said it was a terrible and frightful experience however, they trusted that God was looking after them and they felt all their brothers and sisters praying for them.
They said when the volcano first erupted their house shook violently, and a few hours later the whole place was in darkness with clouds and then ashes began to fill the air and it came like hail on the roof.
The Sisters went up to the roof to sweep down the thick ashes from the roof and the OCDS and their parish congregation came to wash it down with water.
Their only problem is water because the ashes have contaminated their water so they are grateful to New Zealand and Australia who came to their aid with clean water.
Mother Teresa and the Sisters asked to please continue your prayers for their people and their country so that they will soon get back to normal.
