The Audacious, Creative, and Excellent St Teresa

Pope Francis recently delivered a video message celebrating the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of St Teresa of Avila as a Doctor of the Church. In addition to recognising the transformative impact of Teresa's life of prayer, Pope Francis urged all people to embrace their own unique pathways to flourishing. We aren't called to imitate St Teresa but rather to be inspired by her to make our own irreplaceable contribution to the world.
